MANAGEMENT

President:
Michael Brennan - has spent over twenty-five-years in the computer industry and participated in the founding of four companies that successfully became publicly held corporations through IPOs: three on NASDAQ; Computer Automation (CAI), Symmetricom, Inc. (Datum - SYMM), and Interscience (INTR) and one on the London International Stock Exchange, Optim, Plc. Academically, Mr. Brennan has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, an MBA from Pepperdine University and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Phoenix.

COO:
George Farquhar - is a successful executive in finance and general operations and during the past 30 years has served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer as well as President of two corporations, each reporting over $100 million in annual revenues. Mr. Farquhar earned an MBA degree in finance from the University of Southern California and as a CPA worked for five years with Price Waterhouse, an international CPA firm.

CFO:
Catherine Patterson - became MIT’s Secretary in May, 1989, and held the position of Treasurer from August, 1984 to February, 1986 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June, 1990. Ms. Patterson, from 1971 until she joined MIT in 1981, was a legal secretary for various Michigan law offices, including General Motors Corporation, where she dealt closely with various corporate sectors and counsels throughout the United States and portions of Canada and South America.

CTO:
David Haavig, Ph.D. - joined MIT in May, 1998, as General Manager and director of research and development. Dr. Haavig has over 30 years experience in instrument design and computer software with applications in optical measurements and analysis. Dr. Haavig, prior to joining MIT, was Technical Director and Principal Investigator on numerous government programs at McDonnell Douglas and San Diego-based Science Applications International Corporation. Dr. Haavig received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Seattle and his Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Purdue University.

VP, Business Development:
John Ricardi - joined MIT in August 2007. Mr. Ricardi brings 30 years of experience in commercializing and developing sales for high technology products and systems. He most recently served as Vice President Sensor Products at JMAR Technologies where he led the development and commercialization of the company’s water monitoring system since its conception. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of NTec Systems Corporation, an emerging Canadian semiconductor equipment company. From 2000 to 2002, he served as President and CEO of Advanced Laser and Fusion Technology Inc., where he was instrumental in converting the company from a research and development operation to a viable commercial corporation. Mr. Ricardi holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts
